$ 550 for an adult. For children between two and 12 years it is priced at US
$ 275. For an infant the ticket is priced at US $ 55.
The 21 day pass priced at US $ 800 for an
adult. For children between two and 12 years it is priced at US $ 400.
For an infant the ticket is priced at US $ 80.
The above rates are valid for travel by economy class only.
The Visit India fare plan allows a passenger to visit any city within the fare plan period
in one continuous direction or a circle trip. However, no city can be transited more than
once except when passengers wish to take a connecting flight.

Jet Airways will add eight new
destinations to its existing network by May 2000. The airline will be acquiring five brand
new ATR 72-500 aircraft for its new destinations.
Jet Airways will add the following routes in the next 10
months, starting from October 15:

- Bombay-Bhavnagar.
- New Delhi-Jaipur-Udaipur-Bombay.

Some ATR 72-500 facts:
The 64-seater ATR 72-500 aircraft is the largest of the new-generation family of ATR
aircraft and is manufactured by Avions de Transport Regional in Toulouse, France. Its
seats are as wide as those on a Boeing 737 and the aircraft has a 2+2 seating
configuration. The electronically controlled 6-blade propeller helps reduce noise and
vibration to the pressurized passenger cabin. It also propels the aircraft at a maximum
cruising speed of 276 kms per hour at a maximum cruising altitude of 25,000 feet.

Jet Airways has announced a 30 per cent discount
on the normal economy fare on all its sectors for employees of the armed forces, the
government and public sector undertakings. Passengers availing this leave travel
concession will have to fill a form available at airline offices and it has to be
supported with relevant documents.

Bombay, New Delhi, Madras, Calcutta, Hyderabad and Bangalore can take advantage of the
airline's through check in system. Passengers can now check in once at the point
of origin and need not worry about a second check for a connecting flight or for a same

It is possible for passengers to check in at the city
centre offices and receive a boarding pass at least two hours before
departure time.
For those taking early morning flights Jet
Airways offers the provision to check in as early as the day before.
Passengers who have checked in at the city check in counters need to arrive at the airport
just half an hour before flight departure. This facility is available to
passengers travelling with only hand luggage.

Jet Airways has tied up with KLM
Royal Dutch Airlines to introduce a Through-Check-in facility
and benefits forfrequent flyers of the two airlines.
- Under the through-check-in facility, a passenger leaving
from any domestic Jet Airways destinations and connecting on to a KLM flight to Amsterdam
and beyond will be given a one time check in for the whole journey.
- Also, passengers flying into India from any point on KLM's network and
taking a Jet Airways flight can check in right through to their final destination.
- For frequent flyers, Jet Privilege members can exchange
their mileage for free travel on KLM. Similarly, KLM's Flying Dutchman members,
resident in India, can 'redeem' their points for a free flight on Jet Airways.
